One for the record books: a baseball-themed San Francisco wedding
Most baseball fans would agree that one of the biggest rivalries in the sport is between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Francisco Giants. But, not even a team rivalry could get in the way of Christine and Andrew's love! They stepped up to the plate and tied the knot in San Francisco in a baseball-themed wedding.
Christine + Andrew
Christine and Andrew made sure to cover all their bases for their San Francisco wedding. Their wedding day was a reflection of them. Nothing too flashy, nothing too crazy. It was a little bit everything that was important to them: family, friends, baseball, and their heritage.
The day of the wedding, Christine got ready at the hotel with her bridal party before heading to the church. After the wedding ceremony, the entire wedding party headed to Oracle Park (aka AT&T Park, home of the SF Giants) for some incredible photos. Which without a doubt, celebrated their love of baseball! From Oracle Park, the wedding party headed to the reception where the baseball theme continued. Baseball ticket escort cards guided guests to their seats at Dogpatch WineWorks. At the bar, guests found signature beer selections instead of signature cocktails. The "dessert bar" was a concession stand full of baseball snacks. And to top it all off, their wedding cake resembled their teams' stadiums in one! Christine and Andrew had their first dance as husband and wife. She then had her father-daughter dance. And before the dancefloor opened up, there was one more dance. The Lion Dance! Christine and Andrew, however, were not the ones dancing. They instead had front row seats to the performers since the Lion Dance is meant to bring good luck and fortune. They then continued to party on into the night. Celebrating their special day surrounded by the ones they love! A Wedding Dress Curveball
Christine tried on our Isolde dress during a bridal trunk show hosted by Grey Pearl in Las Vegas. As a self-defined tomboy, she was not a fan of wearing dresses. However, Isolde was a curveball!
The A-line dress was surprisingly her: simple, comfortable, and not too flashy. And the soft, silk crepe fabric meant there was no itchiness make her uncomfortable. She even admits that it was so comfortable she forgot she was wearing a dress! Talk about a homerun! She kept her bridal look simple and true to herself with minimal accessories. A single-tiered veil and crystal earrings were all she needed to complete her look. Christine's Final Wedding Advice
Keep an open mind when it comes to shopping for a wedding dress. The dress you think you may not like may end up being the one!
