The holidays are a special time of year: full of magic, love, happiness, time spent with loved ones, and gift giving. In some cases, those gifts are extra sparkly. In the bridal industry, holiday season is also known as “engagement season” for a reason. Anyhow, if you happen to find yourself on the receiving end of one of these sparkly gifts: CONGRATULATIONS!!!
And when you start you search for that perfect dress, you may find the magical inspiration you need right here. #bippityboppityboo A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes
Some of you are already have your dream wedding in mind: a snowy mountaintop ceremony, a romantic Southern plantation, or perhaps an elopement on the beaches of Malibu. Or maybe you’ve always dreamed of a Disney-themed wedding! So with a little imagination, let’s turn you into the princess you’ve dreamed to be… Edith Élan style!
Elsa: Sparkling Like the Snow from Head to Toe
There can be no Elsa without sparkles! And what’s more perfect than our sparkling Faven dress from our 2018 collection?!? Easy… the matching and equally sparkly “Elsa” pumps from Bella Belle! A perfect match, indeed. Add that touch of blue in your earrings with some opal and diamond drops. Wear that icicle-inspired quartz tiara like the queen you are. (Of course, you have to have a big loose braid, and here’s a tutorial for that perfect braid.) As for the bouquet, cascading orchids with a touch of sparkle. And when your fiancé sees you, they’ll agree that "some people are worth melting for." (Thanks for that wonderful quote Olaf!)
Ariel: A Modern Mermaid Princess
Did you think we were going to pick one of our fitted mermaid dresses like Marina? Or did you think we’d pick a dress that more closely matched Ariel’s dress in the movie? Like our Izme, which has a similar zigzag waistline sans poofy sleeves. Nope, we went with a happy medium. We picked our 2017 collection gown, Zara (without the crystal bow on the front). Zara’s scalloped neckline and long train are befitting of a mermaid princess. The shoes must also have the scallop detail to pull the look together. Looking for a gold tiara like Ariel to put atop your soft waves? How about one that is gold and has pearls! The earrings are a simple pearl drop to match your tiara. Finish the look with a tropical-inspired bouquet, and you are ready to be a part of her world.
Aurora: A Natural Beauty
Make it blue… make it pink… make it… Taj! Sure, we could’ve picked our Aurora gown, but we’ve already used her in a different wedding inspiration post. But like when Sleeping Beauty’s dress is changing color between pink and blue, you too can pick Taj’s crepe color. We picked the ivory lace/blush pink color combo that our sample comes in. And no princess is complete without all her magical accessories. Rose gold, vine-covered pink satin pumps... check! A matching rose gold vine woven through your hair and rose gold diamond vine earrings... double check! Your bouquet? How about one that looks like Aurora gathered from the forest herself. This look is all about soft colors and romance as you walk down the aisle towards your true love’s kiss.
Megara: For a Bride with Confidence and Attitude
Meg from Hercules isn't your typical Disney Princess. She is full of confidence and a little bit of attitude. Likewise, our Anila gown isn’t for the typical bride. The beaded waist detail, tassel accents, and her soft silhouette lend themselves to a modern twist on Greek look. To give you the complete Greek look, all the details shine with gold! From the tip of your toes to the laurel wreath on the your head, golden shapes will echo throughout your wedding. Of course, a Meg look wouldn’t be complete without a tiny bit of purple. So, why not add that dash of purple with a Mediterranean feel in your bouquet! Now all that's left to do is say out loud that you’re in love!

Love this! I think it’s a creative way to get the 90’s generation thinking about their overall look. I mean, we all know who our Disney princess is...now I just need to find that prince! Haha

That was so adorable! I love all of your creations. I love the shoes inspired by Elsa and Aurora, I hope that I will be wearing the same shoes on my wedding someday. I like the hairstyle and the accessories of princess aurora as well. I do love the design and style of Queen Elsa’s dress but I am a conservative person so I’d rather prefer the wedding gown of Aurora. The designer of theses gowns is so creative and resourceful. I am so glad that I am able to view your blog. Keep posting!
