We are currently in the middle of "engagement season." With so many newly engaged (or soon-to-be engaged) brides, here is a post full of wedding inspiration!
We've chosen four of our wedding dresses and styled them according to a theme: a Charming Southern Wedding, a Modern Art Deco Wedding, a Boho-Classic Forest Wedding, and a Contemporary Museum Wedding. We've also included the other wedding details for more inspiration. And now, four dream weddings coming right up! Spring: Charming Southern Wedding in Charleston
Our Aurora ballgown is hands down a perfect fit for a Spring wedding. She is the perfect blend of feminine and sexy with her soft lines sheer back. Swarovski crystal buttons and tiny flowers decorate her neckline. The bridal shoes are white leather, laser-cut Christian Louboutins. The tiny leather cord wraps around your feet for a secure fit so you can dance the entire night! The flower details of the hair comb compliment the tiny flowers on the dress.
A Spring wedding in the Lowcountry would be beautiful and romantic. Every corner full of soft pastels, intricate details, and jaw-dropping florals. After all, the wedding is a reflection of the beautiful romance between you and your beau. The wedding venue would be a historic, downtown Charleston home along The Battery. Peonies, poppies, and roses in shades of pastel pink and white are everywhere filling the air with their fragrance. Just like the bridal bouquet, the florals for the ceremony and reception would have greenery intermixed. In the garden, a custom-designed tent. Under the tent, plenty of lounge seating for guests to enjoy drinks before and after dinner. The centerpiece of the reception would be the four-tiered cake. Three of the four tiers would be covered in fondant, while the last tier would have tiny flowers all over like the flowers on the dress. There's nothing like a Spring wedding day full of romance, flowers, and charm. Summer: Modern Art Deco Wedding in Miami
Our Heathe wedding dress was a no-brainer for this Summer wedding. Her silhouette and beading details scream 1920s vintage. And, as you've probably figured out, this Summer wedding is about two things: 1) sparkle EVERYWHERE, and 2) art deco.
The bride is the diamond of the wedding - eye-catching and glistening from head to toe. The crystal headband from Lelet NY is a modern take on a tiara. It'll secure your hair up and out of the way with a touch of sparkle. And with your hair up, everyone will be able to see your stunning drop earrings. The earrings compliment the engagement ring without it looking too "matchy-matchy." If you're not able to borrow grandma's heirloom jewels, some Fred Leighton baubles will do. Now, can you please direct your attention to the shoes. The Sergio Rossi Tressor sandals are perfection! The geometry, the sexiness... and, of course, the sparkle!!! The Loews Miami Beach Hotel is the setting for the wedding. It is where modern meets art deco. There are ballrooms with amazing views and giant crystal chandeliers! Plus, it's in the heart of Miami's Art Deco district. Imagine the gorgeous wedding photos in front of those almost century old buildings?! How do you add even more sparkle to this wedding? Add bling to your cake without making it too fussy. You also can't forget the sparkle on your bouquet - throw a vintage brooch on there. If you don't want to do an all-white bouquet, you can definitely use it to bring in some color. May we also suggest calla lilies since they were a popular flower with 1920s brides. And there you have it: glitz, glam and (modern) deco done the Edith Élan way! Fall: Boho Classic Wedding in the California Redwood Forest
For Fall, we picked the breathtaking and demure Hudson. Her style remind us of an effortless, Boho-meets-Classic Wedding. Her beautiful floral lace overlay, sheer lace sleeves, and low back are perfect for a wedding amongst the California Redwoods. The Juliet style veil harkens to decades past. Its delicate lace detailing on the crown compliments the lace on the dress. Its length will be a little longer than the train on Hudson, and sheer to show off the low back on the dress. The bridal shoes will have a touch of sparkle to match the vintage-store treasure on your ring finger. And to balance the vintage, a modern ear cuff.
The sleeping giants of the forest are the backdrop for the ceremony and reception. They also create intimacy for the small number of family and friends that have come to witness the union. A few steps away from the ceremony would be the reception where guests continue to enjoy the Fall season. The bridal bouquet and floral arrangements will reflect the season change. Roses, eucalyptus, ranunculus, and amaranthus blooming in autumnal shades. The wedding will take everyone's breath away. It will feel refreshingly uncomplicated. Winter: Contemporary Museum Wedding in Chicago
This Winter wedding is about bringing art to life. All art is out of the ordinary in some way. And for an out of the ordinary mermaid wedding dress, we've chosen Amaryllis. She is a wearable, artistic interpretation of an inverted blossom.
The bride must be the Jackson Pollock of the wedding. The minute she enters the room she must command the attention of all those in attendance. The bouquet is the "pop of color" in her ensemble, and a work of art in itself. And for a chilly Chicago Winter's day, opt for a (faux) fur shrug or capelet instead of a veil. That way if you and your hubby opt to go outside for a few pictures, you're still warm. Then, come the reception, take it off for a wardrobe change of sorts. Christian Louboutin shoes are the masterfully created art on your feet. When describing these shoes, Mr. Louboutin put it best: This shoe has many elements that I love, especially the mirage heel, it adds a softness to the silhouette, there are many curves and fluid lines. And the laser cut detail is like a touch of delicate lace. The venue for this wedding is a no-brainer: Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Art. Think outside of the box for the ceremony instead of the run of the mill rows of chairs. Be extraordinary and opt for plush, oversized ottomans. The decor for the reception is also out of the ordinary: floral arrangements tall enough for a guest to walk under. With floor-to-ceiling windows, guests will have a wonderful view of the cityscape blanketed in sparkling snow. In contrast with the white museum spaces and the snow falling outside, the interiors are lit with vibrant, warm hues. The same hues are also hand-painted onto the cake - the baker's canvas - and interwoven in the florals. Now, go off and create your own wedding masterpiece! Shop the Looks

I LOVE all these ideas, and how you separated them out by season. I'd say my favorite was fall by far, but that may be because I love the detailed lace on the brides sleeves.
